Dr. Nadene Peterson is committed to providing counseling services that emphasize problem solutions and individual strengths. Through individual counseling and group meetings, she is an expert in helping people to live creative lives that realize their potential. With individuals who are experiencing depression, grief, anxiety, marital struggles and relationship difficulties, loss of direction, anger or other issues, her ability to help clients find appropriate answers, helpful solutions and a clear perspective has been proven from years of successful practice.
For those who are experiencing difficulties or are undecided about work or job, Dr. Peterson’s counseling helps individuals learn about their interests and abilities to become clear about their vocational/career goals. She is well-known for her talent speaks for itself in assisting others in making career decisions and putting together personal profiles from career assessments. She is also a career resource coach and knows how to assist the individual in finding the necessary information to make effective decisions.
Dr. Peterson has provided workshops and consulting services for school counselors, mental health agencies and hospital personnel and families across the country and frequently presents at national and state professional organizations. She was a counselor in education for twenty years and has supervised graduate students and post-masters degree students. She also trains counselors to be supervisors.
